they are only little once. soon, you’ll miss those handprints on the wall and messes on the floor :: a wise older woman recently told me. its so easy to get overwhlemed with the daily responsiblities of life that we forget to savor the moments of our kids littleness. time flies. freakishly fast. and it seems to be accelerating with every passing year. the temptation of motherhood is to “survive” … just SURVIVE. but really? is that a noble goal for the grand task of mothering. seems to be the natural way of thinking, but so not worth it in the long run. make it your goal today to THRIVE. to survive, yes! but to joyfully do so. all this to say… i hope our baby book has helped you stop. remember. and treasure all of the little moments in your life that you’d easily forget, but never want to. enjoy life!
